Bridge Integrations

We know that Bridge customers operate in environments with a variety of applications, and to get the most value from each of them there is often a need for them to share data. To support this, Bridge has developed several different ways to integrate. Whether you want to extract data to use in your other reporting tools, or have a product appear inside of Bridge almost as if there were a single product, Bridge has ways to make this happen.

APIs

APIs are a common way for customers to get data in and out of Bridge. The Bridge API currently provides programmatic access to Bridge data from the Learn parts of the product. This means that you can create users, update enrollments, change group membership, view program completions, and many other things. The APIs are available to all customers, and it is easy to generate an API Token in your account and get started.

Connectors

Connectors are new for Bridge. Whereas APIs provide access to all data and require technical skills to use effectively, connectors remove some of those barriers. They are pre-built for a specific product and specific data to simplify the movement of data to and from Bridge. Today, Bridge has a connector for importing Bridge data into Domo. It is available to any Domo customer and requires no help from Bridge to get it setup. We are working on building additional connectors to help our customers get their data where they want it.

LTI

LTI stands for Learning Tools Interoperability. It is a standard way for Bridge to communicate with other learning tools. Adding a tool to Bridge using LTI allows your users to launch and use the tool within Bridge. There are already LTI integrations available for things like Credly and Panopto.

Webhooks

Webhooks provide a way for data to be sent from Bridge as events happen. Do you want to receive the details when someone registers for a course, or when a user completes a course or program, or maybe whenever a user is enrolled in a course? For customers that want to collect data about learning events, it is the recommended way to receive data from Bridge. Webhooks remove the need for constant polling of Bridge APIs or large bulk downloads of data every night. They also let you receive data in real time as events happen inside of Bridge.
